Job Description

Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.Job SummaryLift Maintenance helper will assist lift maintenance team with passenger ropeways and conveyor lifts maintenance tasks.Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in all needed maintenance on passenger ropeways and conveyor lifts to the Z98 standard.
  • Assist in running a clean and professional workplace.
  • Ensure that all related activities are conducted in a safe manner through sound judgment and knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
  • Must have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a broad base of mechanical knowledge.
  • Lift operation experience is an asset.
  • Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift and position heavy equipment approximately 50lbs.
  • Must be able to carry heavy loads over mountainous terrain as required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licenses (drivers abstract required).
  • Must be able to work in potentially hazardous environment with exposure to variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts and electrical current.
  • Must be prepared to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be prepared to work long hours in inclement weather.
  • Must work well with others in a dynamic atmosphere.
Compensation and Benefits$18.00/hrThis is full time seasonal position.
