Job Description

Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.Job SummaryTo maintain the safe conditions of runs/trails, to work as a team to maintain the mountain bike trail network at RMR. Working with RMR’s Trail crew team and reporting to Trail crew Supervisor, Mountain Safety Supervisor, and the Slopes Manager.Essential Job Functions

  • Works in difficult conditions in rugged mountain terrain.
  • Ability to perform trail maintenance and manual labor.
  • Follows established working procedures and ensures safe working conditions for himself/herself and the mountain safety staff.
  • Works as a member of the Trail crew maintaining the mountain bike trail network at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
  • Works safely around heavy machinery.
  • Recognizes causes of risk, sets up and maintains signage, fencing and boundary markers to minimize hazards.
  • Has a thorough knowledge of company and department polices as stated in the Emergency Procedures and Safety Program manuals.
  • Always acts professionally.
  • Interacts positively with guests: Provides accurate information regarding lifts, runs, area facilities/services, operating hours and current events. Handles complaints and resolves situations in a courteous manner.
