Job Description

Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.Job SummaryThe programs supervisor leads the weekend programs and supports the assistant manager by managing the general snow school operations ~2 days per week.Essential Job Functions

  • Manage all aspects of weekend programs operations
  • Lead School group organization
  • Manage day to day snow school operations (covering Asst. Mgr.)
  • Manage bookings and assignments
  • Organize daily instructor assignments and meetings
  • Organize department HR, including payroll, staff concerns, etc.
  • Communicate with guests and support staff with GS issues
  • Assist manager, other departments and direct reports as necessary
Required Qualifications and Abilities
  • 1 year’s Guest service supervisory experience in tourism
  • 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Office, POS, CRM and database systems
  • 1 season’s experience as a ski or snowboard instructor or coach
  • Passion for the mountains, children, guest service and the sport
  • Work eligibility in Canada
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Office administrative experience
  • Can produce physical SIN card or valid revenue Canada doc including full SIN number
  • Bondable, with a criminal record check less than 3 months old for new staff
  • Full time, available 4-6 days/week including weekends
