Job Description

Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.Job SummaryRepair technicians are responsible for providing repairs, complete tuning and safety inspections of guests, staff and rental ski & snowboard equipment. This requires competency using both hand and mechanical tools to perform the necessary maintenance and safety checks.Essential Job Functions

  • Perform repairs and maintenance to skis and boards using hand tools and machines to provide the best possible finish product.
  • Mount bindings on skis and boards.
  • Test binding release and record.
  • Provide information to guests on services available with the best solutions.
  • Maintain the facility in a clean and safe manner.
  • Perform regular maintenance on the machinery and tools.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
  • Experience in ski and board repair operations. Experience with Wintersteiger equipment is considered a strong asset.
  • Competent Skier or Snowboarder
  • Physically able to carry out physical tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Work both in a team and independently.
  • Manage priorities.
  • Anticipate business levels and manage accordingly.
