Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.Job SummaryThe assistant manager manages the day to day operations of the snow school and assists the manager, developing experience in all administrative and leadership aspects of the department.Essential Job FunctionsManage day to day snow school operationsManage staff availability, assignment, weekly master schedulesManage bookings and assignmentsManage and delegate administrative tasksSupervise and train schedule desk staffOrganize daily instructor assignments and meetingsOrganize department HR, including payroll, hiring, staff concerns, incidents, etc.Communicate with guests and support staff with GS issuesAssist manager, other departments and direct reports as necessaryRequired Qualifications and AbilitiesWork eligibility in CanadaAbility to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to teach both children and adultsPassion for the mountains, guest service and the sportCan produce physical SIN card or valid revenue Canada doc including full SIN numberBondable, with a criminal record check less than3months oldfor new staff (3 years for returning staff)Compensation and Benefits$23.00/hr
