Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.Job SummaryThis is a continuing year-round position that varies depending on the season. You will hire, train, and supervise Lift Operators, Custodians, and Parking Staff. In the summer you will also be responsible for the Pipe Mountain Coaster hiring, training, and supervision.Essential Job Functions Directly oversee the Lift Operations, Custodian, and Parking teams. Staff training, scheduling, payroll, departmental documentation, budgeting, etc. Supervision of approximately 50+ full & part-time staff. Coordinate between all other departments on the mountain. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in the department. Respect and adherence to RMR’s company policies & protocols, as well as industry, provincial and federal standards.Required Qualifications and Abilities 3+ years in a supervisory role. Very strong skiing or snowboarding ability. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Lift 150 - Train the Trainer certification, registered with BC Technical Safety. (We can help facilitate this course.) Must take pride in your work and lead by example; work hard, set high standards, be consistent and accountable. See leadership as a responsibility, not a privilege. Develop a long-term vision for your team and create a path towards that goal. Accommodate and adjust to team dynamics, always adapting to current situations. Experience operating surface and aerial lifts an asset. Possess excellent employee and public relation skills and enjoy working with the public. Risk management experience, policy development, keen sense for occupational safety. Ability to work alone with very little supervision. Enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather. Current driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract.
