Job Description

WORLDPAC Canada is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Branch Operations Manager - Richmond Hill, ONWORLDPAC, a subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, imports and distributes original equipment and quality replacement automotive parts to select specialty import and domestic service centers.What we have to offer:

Summary of The Assistant Branch Operations Manager directs warehouse activities for the company by performing the following duties personally, or through subordinates:
  • Assist with management of 15 fulltime and contract employees performing warehouse and delivery tasks;
  • Confers with Branch Operations Manager to ensure coordination of warehouse activities including but not limited to operations, staffing, training, branch assets, expense management, and budgeting;
  • Maintains daily workflow for delivery orders. During peak business hours, assists teammates working in warehouse and as delivery drivers;
  • Ensures replenishment orders and returned merchandise are processed according to Company standards;
  • Maintains a customer service oriented philosophy in all conduct of self and teammates and serves as a role model to ensure compliance by all teammates;
  • Ensures operations procedures are followed for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
Successful Candidate must:
  • Must have a minimum of one year of supervisory/management experience including coaching and performance management;
  • Must have a minimum of one year of cash handling;
  • Minimum 3 years #39; class G driving experience required and must maintain a clean driver #39;s abstract;
  • Maintains a professional appearance and follows the customer service philosophy of the Company;
  • Must be available Monday to Friday as well as alternating Saturdays
