We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated & passionate people to join our team! We strive to attract employees who have an enthusiasm and passion for enthusiastic customer service and great drinks!Having experience working with customer service, fast-paced environment, food and beverage experience is an asset but not a requirement. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation, and various other duties required in a cafe.Store Location:

• 1500 Elgin Mills Road East, unit 106, Richmond Hill, L4S 0B2

Key Qualifications:

• 1 year of Food & Beverage experience considered an asset
• Strong customer service skills
• Enjoys working independently and in a team setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be available to work weekends and weekday morning shifts

Job Duties include:

• Assist management in scheduling
• Provide feedback on staff performances every 3 months
• Assist inventory management including but not limited to ordering inventory as required;
• Assist in performing monthly inventory counts including weekly inventory receiving;
• Ensure that the store and all staff are compliant with Chatime’s current policies, procedures, promotions, campaigns, training content, etc.
• Enforce daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules of all spaces and equipment as per Chatime’s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness Standard;
• Travel to the bank to get coins and small bills for the cash register;
• Buy local ingredients, supplies, etc., for the store as required;
• Solve complex customer service issues;
• Provide staff evaluation and recommendation for promotion readiness;
• Ensure end of day reports and duties are performed correctly and funds are balanced daily;
• Report all conflicts and any situations to management that may require disciplinary action.

Required education:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Food handler and First Aid certification considered an asset but not required

Operating Hours & Availability:

• The ideal full time candidates should be available a minimum of 35-40 hours per week and including the ability to work opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends and holidays.
• The ideal part-time candidates should be available a minimum of 25 hours per week and including the ability to work opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Opening shifts can be starting as early as 9:15am. Closing shifts can end as late as 11:30pm.
