Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers to the sales office daily
  • Operate the point-of-sale terminal for payment transactions
  • Create Sales Orders (S.O.’s) based on accurate quotations
  • Communicate with fabrication staff to determine realistic production deadlines
  • Support sales staff and calculate labour and material costs to develop bid proposals
REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum one year of experience involving structural & miscellaneous steel
  • Familiar with engineer drawings/ blueprints, shop drawings, sketches
  • Experience using an ERP system for data management
  • Impeccable English verbal and written communication skills
  • SSGD Mathematics and fluency in British and Metric measurement systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 365
OTHER
  • Must be 18 years of age or over and legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
  • Must have a genuine commitment to mastering the metals and fabrication business within a 3-month period
