If you enjoy a fast paced, dynamic environment and love getting involved in a wide variety of projects, then look no further!Some of what you will do:eCommerce at StaplesGot a love for shopping online Interested in improving the content that others read online Staples is one of Canada’s largest online retailers and we are looking for a passionate and tech-savvy student to join our online team focused on improving the customer experience.Your passion for new ideas will have you working with team members across the company to enhance our online product content. You will be helping us create and maintain product content for all eCommerce SKUs: including images, product names, product descriptions, hierarchy and attributes.You can be proud in having an impact that helps our customers, and that you will see come to life on Staples.caSome of what you will do:

• Support the day-to-day content management activities using our Product Information Management System (PIM).
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to propose new ideas and recommendations
• Execute consistent product content strategy for eCommerce categories in accordance to the content guidelines
• Identify opportunities to improve the eCommerce content experience leveraging all available insights
• Research eCommerce industry features / competitor websites, and present your findings
• Review the various B2C / B2B Staples eCommerce properties and document any errors
• Assist with any special projects across all Staples web properties
• Leverage our analytics tools to better understand customer behaviour across Staples websites
• Provide insightful recommendations in support of customer needs and business objectives
• Other duties as assigned

Some of what you need

• Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work fast and efficient while maintaining quality work
• Strong computer skills and an ability to learn new software quickly is critical
• Enrollment in a post-secondary education program in Business, Retail/eCommerce is an asset.
• Bilingual preferred but not required
