The services provided by the Client Support Section vary in both diversity and complexity and is accomplished through responding to user requests for assistance in a timely manner and providing City Staff access to emerging desktop and peripheral technologies to assist them in their daily job functions. The Client Support team is the primary front facing interface between City Staff and the IT Division. This team is responsible for operating the Citys IT Service Desk, a single point of contact for user requests and desk-side support, facilitated by answering phone calls and completing Heat tickets submitted by staff.
