Job Description

Who we areOur mission is to provide and deliver technology solutions which improve our clients processes, workflow and profitability.Position SummarySolidCAD’s Data Management Team is currently seeking a technical consultant with a background in the implementation of Electronic Content Management (ECM), Asset Management, Engineering Document Management Systems or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position will be based out of SolidCAD’s Toronto office and will report to the Managing Director – Accruent Solutions. In this role, the candidate will contribute to the successful design and implementation of Accruent Meridian and/or Maintenance Connection. The candidate will also work with account managers to develop new opportunities by providing demonstrations, proof-of-concepts and performing assessments to determine our clients’ business needs.In this role, you will...ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist the sales team in developing ECM and CMMS opportunities and perform post-sale implementation, training and support for clients who are investing in Accruent Meridian or Maintenance Connection.

  • Perform needs analysis, assessments, technical presentations or demonstrations,
  • Assist in developing proposals, statement of work, solution design,
  • Preparation of implementation plans including recommendations
  • Provide implementation and configuration of Accruent Meridian or Maintenance Connection systems
  • Provide admin and user training for the solution
  • Deliver technical support on-going through the implementation and post go-live
  • Assist in developing and performing data transfer, scripting and customization of applications,
  • Creation of custom user interfaces, workflows and reports
  • Involvement in various projects as required,
  • Other duties as assigned or required.
About you...The candidate is required to have experience with ECM, asset management or CMMS systems and have a solid understanding of engineering document management processes, organization, revision control, workflows and archiving. Other requirements include:
  • Bilingual in English and French is preferred,
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role,
  • BACC or DEC in Computer engineering,
  • Competence with Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems, SQL Databases
  • Excellent technical knowledge of applications deployment, customization and scripting,
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Available to travel in Canada and in the USA.
Bonus pointsThe following additional performance criteria are an asset to any individual applying:
  • Knowledge of Accruent Meridian and/or OpenText DM and/or M-Files and/or Documentum and/or CMMS (Maximo, SAP PM, JD Edwards, Maintenance Connection, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IT applications programming (C# or VB.NET)
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
