Job Description

On behalf of our client in Richmond, BC, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a AI Solution Architect for a 12-months contract position. This is a 100% remote position Canada-wide with a strong preference for candidates working in PST.Role:We #39;re seeking an AI Architect (or System/Enterprise Architect) to design and implement an AI solution for our contact center. You #39;ll leverage Azure OpenAI and/or other large language models to automate call workflows. This includes generating written transcripts, summarizing key data, identifying call intent, and storing everything in a secure, long-term database.Additionally, the AI Architect will establish a reusable reference architecture for future AI projects on Azure. We #39;re looking for someone with proven experience in designing cloud-based AI solutions, data science methodologies, and data visualization. Bonus points if you #39;ve worked with Azure Cosmos DB and understand contact center operations.Responsibilities:

  • Translate tactical business objectives into executable designs.
  • Formulate proof of concept plans to demonstrate solution feasibility.
  • Assess technical and operational readiness for scalable delivery.
  • Lead solution design considering technology investments and risks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams for efficient architecture.
  • Define system components, interfaces, technologies, and standards.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements are addressed (reliability, security, etc.).
  • Verify correct implementation and documentation of designs.
  • Mitigate emerging risks to business processes and solution success.
  • Drive adoption of technologies for system flexibility and robustness.
  • Identify building blocks for evolving product requirements.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals for optimal value and ROI.
  • Contribute to technology governance and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate to anchor systems design and support decision-making.
  • Embody Lean and Agile principles in systems design.
  • Provide architecture direction and technical guidance.
Qualifications:
  • Developing AI models, systems, and infrastructure to help drive organizational improvements and consumer products.
  • Helping define AI architecture and guide leaders and decision-makers in choosing compatible technologies.
  • Collaborating with security professionals to manage potential risks and implement AI technologies, applications, and infrastructure in keeping with ethical policies.
  • 10+ years of development/architecture experience on cloud.
  • Experience with Machine learning models, natural language processing, and large language models.
  • Experience with AI infrastructure, application deployment, and operations.
  • Experience with Azure AI Platform and corresponding services such as Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Experience in architecting complex solutions (large-scale, multi-region, HA, 10K+ concurrent users, mission-critical application systems) involving various cloud computing technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of AWS/Azure Services: Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, SQL-Managed, EC2, CloudFormation.
  • Development skills in programming languages such as Microsoft C#, .Net, and Java Script, ASP.net, .NET core.
  • Knowledge and experience of Power Appsamp; MS Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with Micro-Service Architecture, Kubernetes and Containers solutions, Multi-region API, and Messaging Solutions.
  • Experience with modeling and design of SQL and no-SQL solutions from major vendors (SQL Server, SQL MI, DB2, Oracle, CosmoDB/DynamoDB/MongoDB are must-haves).
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). An equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
