( quot;Storkcraft quot;)Department: Marketing TeamLocation: Richmond, BC, Canada (Hybrid minimum 3 days in office)Reports to: Brand ManagerIndirect Report to: Vice President of Productamp; BrandPosition OverviewStorkcraft is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team. This role is ideal for someone starting their design career and looking to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment that values both creativity and professional growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our marketing initiatives through compelling visual design across multiple platforms and mediums.Key ResponsibilitiesDesignamp; Production

  • Collaborate with the Brand Manager to ensure all designs align with Storkcraft #39;s brand guidelines and visual identity
  • Assist in creating and updating visual content for digital and print marketing materials, including social media graphics, email campaigns, website assets, and promotional materials
  • Work with existing templates to ensure brand consistency and efficient production
  • Contribute to the development of new design concepts and creative ideas
  • Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and day-to-day marketing needs with visual assets
Project Managementamp; Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and sales
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain organized project files and design asset libraries
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Be open to feedback and eager to learn new tools, techniques, and design approaches
Required QualificationsEducationamp; Experience
  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
  • Internship, freelance, or school project experience in graphic design
  • Portfolio showcasing strong design fundamentals and brand-consistent work
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Canva
  • Experience with the Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of layout, typography, and color theory
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital file formats
Core Competencies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience in retail, consumer products, or family-focused brand environments
  • Knowledge of print production processes
  • Photography or video editing skills
  • Experience with generative AI tools for visual content creation
Work EnvironmentThis position requires a minimum of three days per week in our Richmond, BC office, with flexibility for remote work on remaining days.
