Job Description

PART TIME & FULL TIME DELIVERY TRUCK DRIVERBento Sushi is looking for part time Delivery Truck Drivers to join our team at our Factory in Richmond (Viking Way & Cambie Rd).Schedule:

  • Monday - Saturday: 5:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Responsibilities:As a driver, you play a pivotal role between factory to client, delivering and picking up products from designated locations while providing prompt and courteous customer service. You see safety as a top priority and follow all safe operating practices, including pre-start inspections of vehicles and proper loading and unloading procedures. Lastly, your attention to detail will ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Deliver/pick-up products to/from designated sites and/or businesses
  • Use safe load/unload practices and ensure on-time operations.
  • Record shipment information and check documentation for completion and accuracy. May include, but not limited to: daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection.
  • Perform pre-start vehicle inspection and fuel as required.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors regarding customer, delivery or mechanical problems.
  • Adhere to driver safe operating procedures and road laws.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Qualifications:
  • Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving items of at least 23 kg (50 lb).
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Flexible to work various shifts and weekends
  • Ability to drive for an extended period of time.
