Oxford Learning - Richmond is looking for upbeat and dynamic teachers who have experience teaching a variety of subjects like English, Math, Science, to different ages and want to work in a rewarding teaching environment.Teachable subjects include, but are not limited to:- English - all ages- Math - primary and/or high schoolOur individualized programs offer support for students looking to improve their academic and study skills in English, French, Math, Science, Socials, etc. Our class sizes are small with a maximum of three students per teacher. We provide all of the curriculum and rely on our teachers to interpret, explain, and guide our students to understanding and connecting with the material. All instruction is done at our centre so there is no need to waste time traveling to each students home.Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following skills:✓ Studying towards or having achieved a university degree✓ Experience with students Grades PK-12 in a teaching/tutoring environment is an asset✓ Superb written and oral communication skills in fluent, native English✓ Dynamic, energetic, and outgoing personality✓ Highly organized and able to multitask✓ Ability and willingness to teach multiple subjects at the elementary and/or secondary levels is an asset✓ Schedule flexibility and availability on a minimum of two weekdays a week: Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and/or Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We are specifically in need of teachers who can work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.The ability to teach high school math and science is an assetJob Types: Part-time, PermanentCOVID-19 considerations:We have plexiglass dividers and other measures that can be discussed during the interview process.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentSalary: $19.00-$21.00 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:All parents and students are required to wear masks with the exception of students with medical concerns or under the age of 5.
