Job Description

About the Role:Are you a self-driven individual with a passion for printing We are looking for a detail oriented Machine Operator to join our Corrugated Boxes & Displays or Folding Cartons team. Both departments have seen tremendous growth in the last year and continues advancement. The Machine Operator plays a critical role in our Folding Carton team by producing custom boxes and working as a team in a manufacturing environment. Our ideal candidate has good mechanical ability and communications skills. We have a variety of shifts available with shift differentials, including:

  • Saturday-Monday, 1:00PM-1:30AM
  • Monday-Friday, 11:45PM-7:00AM

  • Adhere to all plant safety guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Set up, monitor the machine production and make adjustments as needed
  • Ensure required productivity goals are achieved
  • Control quality and waste while maintaining housekeeping standards
  • Review schedule and complete necessary documentation
  • Recommend improvements to operations and support continuous improvements efforts
  • Flexible to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Effective communications skills and ability to follow written instructions
  • Ability to work well with people in a team environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Desire to learn and succeed
  • Good organization skills and reliable work habits
  • Basic computer skills and ability to follow written instructions
  • Previous machine operating experience is preferred
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, as this position requires lifting, bending and moderate physical exertion
