  • Understands the company and district’s business objectives and incorporates them into marketing activities, products, and initiatives.
  • Creates marketing plans for small to mid-size projects and related initiatives, and ensures they are measurable.
  • Creates and enhances brand awareness through marketing materials.
  • Works collaboratively with team members to develop deliverables and execute marketing strategy.
  • Ensures marketing and website content is current and organized properly.
  • Builds communications tailored for social media based on strong understanding of the platforms and their requirements.
  • Plans and executes district-wide events.
Qualifications
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of proven construction experience.
  • Knowledge of construction industry including equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, quality, safety, construction sequences and building code.
  • Ability to apply basic engineering and problem-solving principles to construction challenges and present solutions.
  • Ability to build a comprehensive schedule and coordinate subcontracts and contract documents.
  • Ability to establish and maintain partner relationships.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong skills for adopting new technology.
  • Excitement for potential relocation and temporary out of town project assignments.
