Wexxar also offers paid training at institutions like BCIT for further advancement.Our Material Handlers perfom a variety of tasks including:

  • Loading/Unloading Trucks using a forklift
  • Prepare parts and assemblies in kits for Assemblers
  • Inventory Count
  • Place inventory in correct location
  • Material movement within the facility
  • Shipment of parts to vendor or customer
Skills/Requirements:
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • A valid forklift ticket and willingness to maintain valid ticket
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers
  • Ability to enter shop data into ERP system
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to use and provide care of mechanical hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
