Job Description

On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for an Organizational Change Managementamp; Training Lead to join our Client #39;s team on a 12-month contract with the potential to extend annually for up to 2+ additional years. This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in Vancouver, BC.Summary of the Role:The Organizational Change Managementamp; Training Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing change management, communications, and training strategies for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) projects, including IBM Maximo software enhancements and a major platform upgrade. Working as part of the IT department, this role will collaborate with business leaders, project teams, and third-party consultants to drive user adoption and ensure successful change implementation.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of new software solutions.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify risks, gaps, and stakeholder concerns throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and deliver communication plans to engage stakeholders and align them with project goals.
  • Lead the development and execution of training programs, working closely with third-party trainers.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, feedback sessions, and readiness assessments to monitor change progress and address resistance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing guidance on change-related risks and best practices.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of change management and training initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Develop tools, templates, and resources to support change initiatives and enhance organizational readiness.
Core Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in organizational change management, training, or related roles, preferably in software delivery projects.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • PROSCI Change Management Certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing change management strategies for large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and tools (e.g., ADKAR model).
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs, including instructional design and facilitation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage resistance to change and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
Desired Skillsamp; Experience:
  • Experience with IBM Maximo or relevant project implementation experience.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance/Acquire to Retire, Supply Chain/Source to Pay, and Contract capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess change impacts, measure adoption, and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as tools like Jira and MIRO.
  • Experience working with third-party trainers and consultants to deliver change programs.
Terms:This is a 12-month contract with the potential to extend annually for up to 2+ additional years.
