• WELL Health Oval A Medical Clinic puts patients and their family’s health first. We are committed to empowering patients with care that results in improved health outcomes. Located in Richmond, the ideal candidate would enjoy family practice and be able to join the clinic as a locum, ideally taking on 2 – 3 shifts per week. Our clinic is highly flexible with the schedule and we can work with you on days and times that work best for you, and we can easily accommodate any other work commitments you may have.
• Alternatively, physicians may also participate in the walk-in at other WELL clinics close by (2 clinics within a 5 – 10-minute drive of Oval A).
• WELL Health’s Oval A Medical Clinic is one of the 20 B.C. based Primary Health Care Clinics in our network. The clinic is open Monday to Friday and physicians only see appointments with attached patients. We currently have 3 full-time physicians, 5 MOA‘s and 1 Nurse serving this location and there are usually 3 MOA’s and a nurse working at all times. Our location at the Richmond Olympic Oval is only a few minutes’ walk from the Lansdowne Skytrain station and there is a shuttle bus available to and from Brighouse Station. There is a Pure Pharmacy and Life Mark Sport Medicine Physiotherapy and massage in the same office with a shared waiting room. Richmond Centre Mall is only a few minutes away.
• Amenities: There are quite a few facilities at the Richmond Olympic Oval, a full gym that is now open again after closing initially for COVID. Parking is in the Oval parkade and is covered by WELL Health. We are also located close to the Fraser River where there are walking and bike paths nearby.

Vacation / CME Leave: No strict policy around time off, we hope that physicians ensure that patients who rely on the clinic and care have a great chance of seeing a doctor in your absence. As long as adequate notice is given (60 days), we can schedule accordingly.Additional Benefits:

• Certain physicians will be offered financial and equity-based incentives to migrate their practice to clinics in our network
• WELL will support transferring patient records, training on OSCAR EMR, assist with EMR migration costs, and will often address financial obligations the physician may encounter as a part of moving their practice.
• We regularly have physicians that need to take extended time off. For physicians or locums providing extended coverage, WELL will provide competitive terms and often further incentivize them to join WELL temporarily or in a full-time capacity.
• The WELL Health Marketing team will support new physicians in the area and help build their practice over time as there are many patients in the area looking for a physician.
• An additional benefit is that you will have access to WELL Health’s Virtual Care solution (ca) which can be used while in the clinic or from your own home.
