Job Description

On behalf of our client in Richmond, BC, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a PowerBuilder Developer for a 12-months contract opportunity.Role:The PowerBuilder Developer is typically assigned to medium to high complexity work. This position fully participates in activities that support the team #39;s delivery and continuous improvement through assisting other roles with their work, mentoring, and promoting a respectful and collaborative culture.Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of PowerBuilder development experience.
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in computer science or STEM and 4-7 years of equivalent work experience in IT.
  • Of the 4-7 years, a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with agile methodologies and cloud,and a DevOps environment, involving continuous process improvement, IT development, unit testing,production support and problem resolution, analysis, and/or technical proficiency.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Significant experience in leading the development cycle (design, develop, integrate, test, prototype)
  • Extensive experience using agile and DevOps tools, techniques and processes.
  • (SAFe) training and certification or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work.
Nice-to-haves:
  • Working experience with PowerServer is preferred.
