Print Production AssociateWe are hiring for an open position with our client in the printing industry. This on-site role involves operating and maintaining production equipment to meet customer requirements for black-and-white reprographics and mainframe printing services. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring quality control, facilitating customer satisfaction, and performing various support tasks.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $20.• 12-month contract.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.• On-site work in a dynamic environment.• 25% driving, using a company-provided vehicle.• Join a passionate and inclusive team of professionals.Responsibilities: • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and quality print production.• Collaborate with the Lead Print Operator to review the production schedule and determine output requirements.• Prepare, set up, and manipulate documents as needed.• Approve proofs to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations.• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime.• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when necessary.• Handle Loomis deliveries and serve as a backup for the regular delivery driver.• Identify and resolve production issues, maintaining operational efficiency.• Maintain business equipment and perform other tasks as required.What you will need to succeed:• Post-high school technology diploma or equivalent experience.• Specialized training in printing or related fields.• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive downtown, including backup driving duties using a company vehicle.• 3+ years of experience in a print production environment.• Experience operating large centralized digital equipment and B amp;W production equipment.• Familiarity with Freeflow software.• Ability to detect and address production inconsistencies and quality issues.• Strong PC skills, including experience in networked environments.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and follow English instructions.• Physical ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods.• A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2000003) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
