Job Description

Overview:Ensuring an emphasis on team collaboration while ensuring quality brand standards.Plan, organize and motivate employees toward achieving company goals in serving customers (stores or third Party) with maximum quality products in a Food Production Facility.Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Coach and motivate hourly production worker.
  • Staff Schedule – work and vacation coverage to ensure optimal operational coverage
  • Administrative work such as Ordering and Payroll entries to collaborate with FC Admin on daily basis.
  • Receiving Product verification vs PO on a daily basis.
  • Assist Lead Hand on performing Pre-Operational and Operational walk through before Production begins. Including all equipment is in good running operational status prior to production.
  • Preventative maintenance as required and as scheduled on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, including product calibration.
  • Responsible for monitoring employee hygiene and GMP Practices are being followed according to SOP and Brand standards.
  • Responsible for monitoring workflow in all production areas. This must include implementation of the updated HCAAP plan.
  • Meet daily, weekly and monthly Production Goals. This includes team daily performance efficiencies to meet the required production unit goals.
  • Confirms that production stations are set up correctly and Monitor task assuring that production are done in acceptable timely manor.
  • Completion of weekly Lab Product Testing as per weekly schedule. Including temperature logs and validation guides.
  • Ensures General Organization and Cleanliness in Production Floor is completed at all times.
  • Problem solving and training new employees to ensure they are educated and coached in their new roles.
  • Ensure Quality Control is being followed for all product being produced according to recipe specifications followed by the Weight, Packaging and Labels are all being met.
  • Monitory daily Inventory and Write Off Controls including FIFO standards.
  • Ensuring Safe working environment by monitoring all safety standards inside production facility.
  • Update weekly HACCP binder and follow up as required.
  • Must take part in the Monthly Health and Safety Committee Meeting. Responsible for reporting any Health and Safety Concerns including recording of monthly meeting minutes.
  • Effectively lead your team while promoting our Leadership Qualities.
  • Position may require other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
  • Supervisor skills and experience
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to effectively train other team members
  • Must Have Valid First Aid Certification
  • Following policy and procedures
