Job Description

On behalf of our Healthcare client based, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an Senior Project Manager to join our client #39;s team on a contract basis.Summary of the Role:The Senior Project Manager will lead, in conjunction with the Digital Referrals and Orders project, the implementation of electronic referrals, consults and orders projects within the portfolio. The Project Manager will lead a high-performing team working with other stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Health Authorities

  • Develop/Manage project plans (budget, schedule, risk, etc) with input from Project Team Members and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project communications across the provincial health sector.
  • Maintain and update program status reports and dashboard.
  • Develop project charters, business cases, options analyses, briefing notes and evaluation plans.
  • Identify and manage organizational change requirements for the project working with provincial health sector Communications Leads.
  • Manage project scope change processes, and acquire approvals as required.
Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
  • Five (5) year’s recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
  • Experience working within the BC Health Sector is highly preferred.
  • Project Management Professional designation considered an asset.
  • Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment.
  • Experience or working knowledge of population and public health.
