Located right on the Bayview Pier in the heart of historic Steveston Village, Blue Canoe Waterfront Restaurant is a high volume, award winning, 200+ seat, upscale casual restaurant and lounge that has been in business since 2008. Blue Canoe is known for excellent food, a varied craft beer and wine selection, and outstanding customer service. Blue Canoe is looking for the right person to fill the position of Restaurant Manager.As the successful candidate, you will have a passion for the hospitality business, be a strong leader for the team, and possess a keen knowledge of industry trends. You will have past front of house management experience, and will have extensive product knowledge on all things bar-related.Duties include: weekly scheduling for front of house staff, hiring and overseeing the training for all front of house staff, responsibility for a successful beverage program, weekly ordering (beverage), monthly inventory (beverage), working bar shifts, oversee shift supervisors, communicate with Chef, kitchen staff, ownership group.Very attractive and competitive compensation package will be offered for the right candidate.
