About Commercial Logistics Inc.Commercial Logistics Inc. is a growing premium distribution Company based in Richmond B.C. Commercial Logistics specializes in warehousing and providing province wide distribution of BC domestic wines and beers. We employ our own fleet to serve the Lower Mainland, Whistler, Squamish and Okanagan areas.Currently Commercial Logistics has a full time Router position available to complement their existing team in Richmond, B.C.Position Type: Permanent Full-TimeHours of Work: Mondays to Fridays 2:00pm to 10:30pmLocation: Richmond, BCCompensation: Commensurate with experiencePosition Overview: Working under general supervision from the Fleet Supervisor and Operations Manager, is responsible for the planning and routing of all Richmond loads and is involved with dispatching tractor service resources.Main Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited to:

  • Daily Routing
  • Create, number and map in-town delivery runs
  • Assign equipment for each run
  • Create daily dispatch
  • Dispatch
  • Dispatch tractor service drivers to delivery appointments.
  • Schedule resources when and where as needed.
  • Driver interaction
  • Review and resolve delivery challenges, routing changes. Collect Cash on Delivery payments
  • Review Drivers Logs to ensure compliance with delivery schedules
  • Customer Service
  • Communicate with licensees regarding delivery days and with customers regarding product pick-ups.
  • Greet customers and carriers and advise warehouse staff of load arrival .
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:The successful candidate will have strong problem solving and analytical skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior exposure to trucking and warehousing industries will be considered an asset. 2 to 3 years related experience or a certificate/ diploma is a requirement for this role.Commercial Logistics Inc. offers an attractive package which includes competitive compensation, excellent benefits and a great Company culture.
