Job Description

On behalf of our client in Richmond, BC, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Solutions Architect (D365/CRM) for a 12-months contract opportunity. Role:The Solutions Architect will work closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to explore and build new solutions around Dynamics CRM. The ideal candidate will have a software engineering background with recent experience building solutions in enterprise environments. The candidate should be able to work in Agile DevOps environments and manage concurrent projects with up to 2 pods at any given time.This role is 50% architecture design, 25% requirements gathering, and 25% stakeholder management.Responsibilities:

  • Translate business objectives into executable designs, formulate proof of concept plans, and assess technical readiness.
  • Lead solution design, collaborating with DevOps, Cloud Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure efficient, implementable architectures.
  • Verify correct implementation, configuration, and documentation of the design, addressing risks and ensuring adherence to design policies.
  • Drive technology adoption, identify building blocks, and contribute to strategic technology plans within the Innovationamp; Technology Division.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, recommending best value and return on investment.
  • Contribute to technology governance, ensuring the use of information and technology generates business value while mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate to anchor systems design, support decision-making, guide teams in design disciplines, and embody Lean and Agile principles.
  • Fulfill other assigned duties as the Cloud Solution Architect reporting to the Architecture Manager, providing direction and guidance to the team.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of development/architecture experience on cloud.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and managing CRM solutions at an enterprise level (Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365).
  • Experience in architecting complex solutions (large-scale, multi-region, HA, 10K+ concurrent users, mission-critical application systems) involving various cloud computing technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of AWS/Azure Services: Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, SQL-Managed, EC2, CloudFormation.
  • Development skills in programming languages such as Microsoft C#, .Net, and Java Script, ASP.net, .NET core.
  • Knowledge and experience of Power Apps MS Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with modeling and design of SQL and no-SQL solutions from major vendors (SQL Server, SQL MI, DB2, Oracle, CosmoDB/DynamoDB/MongoDB are must-haves).
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.
  • Degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). An equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification (such as SAFe Practitioner) or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement.
