They will be responsible for conducting tax research regarding licenses, assist on audits, and work on other department projects.Responsibilities:- Prepare and file Canadian and U.S. Company license renewals- Gather supporting documentation and prepare working papers in support of license filings- Leverage existing license software to track license due dates and update documentation- Conduct tax research when new licenses are required- Prepare and submit tax payment requests- Prepare mailing envelopes and FedEx packages as needed- Provide tax and audit support to Core-Mark #39;s operations in the US and Canada- Participate in Tax Department projects as requiredRequirements:- 2+ years of demonstrated accounting experience preferred - i.e., Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Bookkeeping- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with strong Excel skills- Experience with SAP (or similar ERP systems) and an aptitude to learn new software is a plus- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized with the ability to multi-task- Exposure to and interest in tax compliance and tax research- A team-player with effective interpersonal skills and in-office work experience
