Our hospital is quite sizable with 3-4 vets per day. We are well set up with equipment and staff, and have been in the Richmond community for 30+ years! We are AAHA accredited and very proud of it; we recently passed our re-accreditation inspection with flying colors this past month! About The Role:Our ideal Vet Assistant will counsel and educate clients, under the direction of a Veterinarian or a RVT, on various aspects of animal care such as dosage/purpose of medications, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare recommendations. In collaboration with the team, they will suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing. They will also greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that contributes to an environment in which animals feel safe and secure. Please note this is a temporary role to cover a leave of up to 18 months. For this position we require the new team member to work 24 hours a week. Expected Wage Range: $17.43 - $24.00What We Offer:
