Job Description

Our 50 bed nursing home is a large facility with a relaxed country atmosphere and tightly knit care team. We are located just 45 minutes from Moncton in the Village of Riverside-Albert.We are currently accepting applications for Environmental AttendantsEssential Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 education.
  • Previous work related experience in the dietary/housekeeping/laundry field.
  • Valid Certificate in Introduction to Safe Food Handling Seminar offered by Public Health and/or as deemed equivalent to the National Guidelines for Food Safety Program in New Brunswick.
  • Provides food services and assists with preparation and distribution of food and beverages for the nursing home.
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment within the nursing home.
  • Provides laundry services for residents and/or nursing home.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions.
  • Ability to use materials, learn methods and routines in the dietary department.
  • Mentally and physically able to perform assigned duties.
  • Ability to co-operate and get along with others.
  • Good previous work and attendance record is mandatory.
