Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwideObjectiveManage the verification and validation process, manage EHS, Quality (e.g. CONQ i.e. Costs of Non-Quality, 4M ‘Man-Machine-Method-Material ‘ On-Time), RSA (Railway Safety) while also overseeing team productivity, assessments and ulitization reports and the projects on time delivery.Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesProactively contribute to Management Cycle of in-house validation (i.e. management of Planning, People, Processes and Performance)

  • To define and execute for the global project solution, including all subsystems layers, all the V-cycle activities related with in-house validation (Verification, Integration, Testing), managing the activities exported to T&C for site execution
  • Plan, develop and manage V&V resources on USRC Project to provide Projects & Bids with the right resources, at the right time, to execute in-house validation activities in line with his/her commitment (e.g QCD) and in compliance with Transport strategy, policies and standards, including local regulation, relevant professional standards
  • Apply and deploy processes and method statement, development / maintenance of tools in support to in-house Validation activities. Contribute to processes, methods and tools improvement by giving return of experience (REX) to V&V Methods & Tools
  • Assess competencies and lead Department Staffing Plan of V&V resources (recruitment plan, training plan, retirement plan)
  • Co-ordinate and monitor Verification, Integration and Test activities across all projects, and report according to processes
  • As V&V Authority from the Regional Center contribute to the ALSTOM DIS worldwide V&V community
  • Provide V&V quotation and bid documentation in line with the Bid’s strategy (including QCD targets) and DIS Strategy, Policies and Standards (including Local regulations and professional standards)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. At least 8 years post graduate experience with design or testing of Railway Train Control/Signaling systems – Carborne & Wayside.
Experience
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in supervising people, 2+ years working with Alstom Signaling products or equivalent. experience in test automation, 5+ years of software development and software test experience.
