Job Description

POSITION: Hardware Supervisor (40 hours/week)LOCATION: Home Centre, Rocky Mountain House Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
  • Providing support to the team, setting a good example
  • Administering and being responsible for the sales, margin, expenses, inventory and SPEH of the hardware Department
  • Supervising staff to ensure they adhere to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, staff appearance, house keeping and loss prevention
  • Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures
  • Leading and directing employees, having excellent communication skills
  • Assisting with ordering products
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Organizational skills and great time management
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Previous retail experience would be an asset
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and make tough decisions
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted
  • Hardware product knowledge
