Visit us @ rsvfx.com The Visual Effects (VFX) Supervisor is an integral part of the RSVFX team. They are responsible for the overall development, maintenance, and delivery of visual effects work on projectsResponsibilities:

• Deliver on the creative vision set out for shows
• Create script breakdowns and creative briefs
• Design VFX shots, create technical plans and oversee the prep, production, post and delivery of VFX shots and sequences
• Liaise with show Producers, Directors, Production and Post-Production departments
• Develop and maintain existing and future client relationships
• Provide on-set supervision including data collection, reference photography and shot/ sequence design consulting when required
• Supervise studio artists. Communicate concise creative notes, set expectations, define workflow management, and problem solve as needed
• Provide mentorship support to studio artists
• Balance delivery schedules
• Provide ongoing research and identify trends to ensure the studio is up to date with resources and processes, both creative and technical
• Drive dailies and rounds with artists and other supervisors to give feedback and/or approvals
• Ensure that material meets and pushes the global standards of quality of RSVFX

Qualifications:

• 8+ years’ experience providing overall VFX and/or CG or Compositing Supervision
• 5+ years’ experience in the VFX industry
• Strong creative and visual storytelling skills, and the ability to create professional and impressive shots
• A complete understanding of both feature film and television VFX production pipelines
• Well versed in principles of live action film and television production, including directing, lighting, camera, special effects, grip, art department, costumes and props
• Excellent planning, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to take initiative and handle both creative and technical issues in a professional manner
• A team player with excellent communication skills
