We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Precision Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in working with various metals and alloys. Responsibilities: Accurately interpret and execute welding blueprints, technical drawings, welding specifications, and manuals, ensuring the final product meets detailed requirements. Inspect welds to ensure they meet industry standards and quality specifications. Safely operate various welding and metalworking equipment, including pre-set welding machines, brazing, soldering, and semi-automatic flame-cutting tools, ensuring precise execution. Evaluate and determine the weldability of different materials, selecting the appropriate welding technique for each project. Fit, braze, and straighten metal components as needed, including the operation of oxygen arc cutting and other precision metalworking equipment. Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure consistent performance and avoid downtime. Use a range of welding processes to fabricate and repair metal parts with precision, ensuring all welds meet the specified standards. Work closely with production teams to solve complex welding issues, providing feedback on material selection and welding techniques as needed.Job Requirements: Previous experience as a Precision Welder is not required but would be considered an asset. Proficient in operating welding equipment and metal shaping machinery to ensure precise fabrication and repairs. Capable of thoroughly examining welds to assess and confirm their quality, meeting both safety and industry standards. Knowledgeable in safety protocols and welding regulations to maintain a secure working environment. Physically fit with the stamina to work in a variety of conditions, including those that may involve standing for extended periods or working in different environmental settings. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills to effectively address challenges during the welding process.
