As a Construction Laborer, you #39;ll gain hands-on experience, enjoy competitive wages, and have the opportunity to grow and advance in a stable and rewarding field.• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete• Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, cement finishers and roofers in construction activities• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities• Assist in aligning pipes and perform related activities during construction• Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel• Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment• Operate vibrators and tampers as directed• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps• Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment• Direct traffic at or near construction sites, if needed• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.Requirements• At least 2 years experience with carpentry or contract work• Should know how to use power tools• Valid Driver #39;s licence• Fast-paced environment• Physically demanding• Repetitive tasks• Handling heavy loads• Being a self-motivator and a team player• Being skilled in problem solving• Willing to work in the various weather conditions• Uploading videos of current experience as a construction worker is an asset and is encouragedWe are looking for motivated individuals ready to start a new life in Canada as a Construction Laborer.
