Job Description

The Millwright is a member of the Maintenance team and as such, participates in team efforts to achieve assigned departmental goals. Working closely with all team members is critical in ensuring maintenance activities are completed correctly and on schedule, according to SOP’s and local regulatory requirements.As a Maintenance Millwright on our team, your primary responsibilities will include examination, troubleshooting, replacement/repair of a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components. In addition, you will provide technical support to our production team during runtime hours to ensure optimal functionality of all production equipment within the facility. Utilizing our internal asset management system, your daily downtime routine will include preventative, corrective and facility maintenance. Additional tasks/duties maybe required to meet operational demands.Requirements

Education:
  • Ticketed in the Millwright Trade
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (Food manufacturing is highly preferred)
  • High aptitude with Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems (Required)
  • Proven track record working with Lathes, Milling Machines and Welding Equipment (ARC, TIG, MIG)
  • Above average problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
  • Thrives in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook)
  • Focuses on continuous self-improvement
