Job Description

Position descriptionThe Music Department at Mount Allison University invites applications for the position of instructor in Voice. This is a stipendiary (part-time) appointment for the Winter semester: January to April 2023. Preference will be given to applicants with degrees and/or diplomas in voice performance, an established record as a performer, and studio teaching experience at the university level. Teaching responsibilities include weekly studio instruction in voice of up to 9 students (MUSC 1511–4511), approximately 1 hour per student per week plus studio class, overseeing student performance preparation, and assessing performance juries associated with these students. These courses will be taught on the campus of Mount Allison University. Application materials should include a letter of interest, an up-to-date curriculum vitae, and recordings of three recent solo performances (at least one should be a video recording).
