Job Description

DescriptionKelly is now hiring! We are currently looking for an Administrative Support Specialist for one of our long term clients in Sackville, NB. The ideal candidate is someone who can multitask, is professional and manage multiple requests at once. If you are organized, have an eye for detail and are a quick learner we want to hear from you.This is a 10-11 month contract. The position is Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and the rate of pay is $18/hr. We are hiring immediately for this position, if this interests you at all please click below to apply!Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Answers, screens, and directs incoming calls to appropriate departments and/or individuals; documents and distributes telephone messages.
  • Greets and assists office visitors; directs visitors to other Town Departments as required.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for departmental employees and the general public.
  • Responds to various types of inquiries and/or complaints; provides information regarding departmental operations, services, programs, projects, and policies.
  • Prepare and assist in the administering of tender documentation.
  • Handle cash on a daily basis, either through issuing accounting receipts or petty cash
  • Update reports as required by management
  • Must be able to maintain a level of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as take direction in organizing and carrying out various projects.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and prioritize workload.
The requirements are:
  • Previous administration/reception experience considered an asset
  • A high school or GED graduate
  • Multitasking abilities
  • Organizational skills
  • Covid19 vaccinated
  • Open to a criminal record check

Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
