Position descriptionPosition summaryThe Meighen Centre is seeking an interested and qualified post-graduate to work with the office to support staff and students registered with the Meighen Centre.This position is a learning opportunity. The incumbent will gain experience by supporting students with diverse needs, utilizing and researching software and technology, and exploring best practices regarding accessibility support. The incumbent’s work will help to advise management on improving current policy and procedure.This position is for a student who is a recent graduate. You must have a keen interest in university and student life, supporting diverse populations, and researching policy and procedure.Can you see yourself with a future in student services This position might be for you!ResponsibilitiesWorking as a member of the team in the Meighen Centre, the post-grad intern will assist staff in service delivery, utilize and support staff and students with software and other technologies, sit in on team meetings, make recommendations, and work collaboratively to create opportunities for students with disabilities.The intern will play a key role in promoting the Meighen Centre to students via social media and other communication channels.
