Position descriptionThe Mount Allison Writing Centre is seeking an interested and qualified writing tutor to develop and deliver writing support to students in the sciences.The Professional Science Writing Tutor will provide consultation with students on their academic writing, both online and in person (when possible). Working closely with instructors, the Professional Science Writing Tutor will deliver writing clinics and workshops for students in the sciences.Working as a member of the Writing Centre team, the Professional Science Writing Tutor will also help facilitate the training of student writing tutor staff, and develop materials on writing in the sciences for the Writing Centre website.Qualifications/skillsQualifications
