Job Description

Position descriptionReporting to the Interim Director of Experiential Learning and Career Development, the Project Coordinator will be involved in ensuring the smooth administration of a variety of ongoing projects in the office, including the Curricular Work Integrated Learning grants and Experience MTA portal, and perform other related duties. The candidate must have excellent written communications skills, be highly organized, and self-driven to meet targets and deadlines.The Office of Experiential Learning and Career Development works with students as they prepare for life after MtA. Our office has a wide range of programs that support students, providing real world experiences and the opportunity for skill development. This role will be an important part of the team, and will help to scale up our offerings, and track our successes.This role is flexible, in hours and location. It will require up to 20 hours per week with the majority of the work done virtually.Qualifications/skills

  • Experience coordinating projects with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience with managing budgets and tracking funds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Office 365 programs
  • Strong excel and spreadsheet management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience in a post-secondary education setting an asset
