We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Government, Stakeholder, and Indigenous Relations team. The role is ideal for a junior professional with experience in data management, ESG reporting, and public policy. The role will be instrumental in helping us achieve our sustainability goals and support our data-driven decision-making processes, while actively engaging with legislative and regulatory processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Collaborate with the Sustainability and Finance teams to implement a robust data management strategy, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to track key sustainability metrics.
  • Sustainability Reporting: Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Management Tools: Utilize data management tools and software to support efficient data analysis and policy development.
  • Grant/Funding Applications: Research, draft, and submit grant and funding applications to secure financial resources for key projects.
  • Research and Analysis: Monitor and analyze relevant legislative and regulatory developments in the energy and sustainability sectors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze data, assisting in change-management for new data tools and processes.
Education, Skillsamp; Experience
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in a related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Data Management, Public Policy or a relevant discipline).
  • Strong technical background in data management and analysis, with proficiency in data management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, ISSB).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and taking on diverse responsibilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of federal and provincial environmental policy and legislative processes.
  • Knowledge of grant and funding application processes is a plus.
