We support our clients at all levels of dispute with Canadian taxing authorities, ranging from tax audit responses to litigation in the Tax Court of Canada and beyond.We are currently seeking a Law Senior Associate to join our Calgary office to develop their technical tax skills, work with new clients across a range of industries, expand their internal and external networks and be a key member in the growth of our practice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse and intellectually challenging files that involve all aspects of income tax planning.About the team:KPMG Law LLP is a national law firm with offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and Montreal.   • Work closely with other members of our team to provide income tax planning advice to clients
  • Provide advice to clients on a wide range of domestic, inbound and outbound income taxation issues affecting business operations conducted in Canada, the U.S. and abroad
  • Conduct income tax due diligence and structuring of, in a tax-efficient manner, investments, financings, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and complex reorganizations both within the domestic and cross-border context
  • Research and draft memoranda and legal opinions on various income tax issues

  • A member in good standing of the Alberta bar.
