About the roleBring your project leadership, forward thinking, and strong communication skills to this unique opportunity to advance CMHC #39;s Future of Work (FoW) initiative in the Talent Development, Culture, and Inclusion team. As the Bilingual Senior Specialist for the FoW initiative, you will be working closely with the FoW Oversight Committee (comprised of 3 Directors of People, Space and Technology), as well as an integrated workgroup leads comprised of People, Space and Technology leads who continue to move us forward in these three pillars under the FoW umbrella. You will be supported by corporate change management as well as members of the Oversight Committee. In addition, you will support the People pillar lead in executing the Way We Work.This is a temporary position of a duration of 18 months.What you #39;ll do:
  • As the project leader, chair regular Integrated Workgroup meetings to support delivery of reinforcement and sustainment opportunities always with a 3-pillar view.
  • Maintain a project plan with key deliverables, timelines, progress, including identified metrics as part of benefits realization.
  • Report regularly on the status of the 3 pillars and their benefits to the FoW Oversight Committee and provide your guidance and feedback, while also being accountable for the implementation of change management, communication, controls, and sustainment plans.
  • Build relationships and work with the 3 pillars leads (people, space, technology) to understand their specific unique needs, opportunities, and constraints, and provide input on the realization of the full benefits of FoW outcomes.
  • Influence and integrate the key dimensions across the three pillars, seeing the gaps and opportunities and gaining buy-in within various levels of the organization.
  • Work with the team members to identify key metrics to success and risks /risk mitigations and ensuring that visibility is provided to the Oversight Committee.
  • Identify gaps and develop recommendations to support next phase of initiative, based on benchmarking, research and external consultations.
  • As a team member of the Way We Work project, support various deliverables in implementation and sustainment.
What you should have:
  • An Undergraduate degree in business, organizational behavior, sciences, human resources, psychology or other relevant field considered an asset(s).
  • A minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience in transformation efforts and leading others through change (leading multi-disciplinary projects, transformation projects, etc.).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, in both offical languages (English and French), including presentation skills with the ability to persuade, influence and debate with a variety of audiences using tact, diplomacy and judgment.
  • Excellent project planning and coordination, supporting and implementing complex initiatives, including a variety of communications and engagement strategies.
  • Sound analytical skills with demonstrated ability to capture and synthesize information to develop recommendations and provide advice to drive success and risk mitigation.
  • A demonstrated experience managing and facilitating problem identification, idea generation and solution-based sessions with a variety of stakeholders, in order to identify gaps, opportunities and gain buy-in.
  • A strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, connect with a variety of stakeholders, and demonstrate a growth mindset that is applied to your work and relationships.
It would be great if you also had:
  • A change management certification (ADKAR) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
