We strive for execution excellence while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives.AMD together we advance_ResponsibilitiesThe RoleAMD is searching for talented and motivated people to support our open-source, GPU-accelerated libraries of the AMD ROCm platform.The Libraries group in AMD AI GPU Software (AGS) builds the GPU-accelerated, open-source math and communication libraries that power artificial intelligence and high-performance computing applications on workstations, data centers, and super computers.The PersonYou are accustomed to working in a dynamic, geographically distributed agile team, where partnership and collaboration are paramount. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to express your work in a clear, cohesive fashion. You are results-oriented and accustomed to tight deadlines and changing priorities. Most importantly, you are constantly thinking of ways to improve automate and streamline resource management and software development operations. Duties include cluster management and system administration to support software development and continuous integration for geographically distributed software development teams.Key Responsibilities

  • Administer servers and clusters built with the latest GPUs, used for software development, continuous integration, and performance testing.
  • Work with software development teams to support and improve the software development environments for ROCm libraries and frameworks.
  • Work with software development teams to improve workflows for server allocations, build process, and automations.
  • Support and automate software development workflows for continuous software quality improvements.
  • Develop integrations with continuous integration systems and code versioning platforms.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with cluster management and job scheduling tools
  • Experience with networking, switches, and storage for clusters
  • Experience with system administration on multiple
  • Experience with CMake, Spack, and other build tool chains
  • Experience with continuous integration frameworks, such as Jenkins
  • Experience with code versioning platforms, such as GitHub
  • Experience with python, bash scripting, C/C++, and groovy
