This position will participate in business development activities and will position focus on the operational needs of the business to be successful: people, properties and processes using an advisory mindset to achieve goals, targets and EBITDAEssential Functions and Job Duties

  • Manage the business to a plan with clearly stated and measurable goals and objectives: for each General Manager and their aligned team; and for each client with a mindset on focusing on opportunities and challenges through mentorship, and changes as needed.
  • Conscientiously manage the business to protect and enhance the Colliers brand and reputation in the market.
  • Manage, motivate, encourage and mentor team members to achieve client, Colliers and personal business goals. Actively pursue strategies for our clients that achieve their goals.
  • Act as the advocate of the company #39;s vision, communicating the corporate vision.
  • Build a strong customer-centric staff designed to deliver exceptional service and look to engage our clients and colleges in the advisory mindset.
  • Work with the Market Lead by continually seeking opportunities to expand the business base by working through regular contact with key clients / target clients.
  • Understand the process for business development and the fees associated with clients across the board, across the province and locally.
  • In conjunction with Senior VP #39;s, VP Finance, and VP of National Services, as well as other Market Leads, work to develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets with a mindfulness of costs and efficiency.
  • Conduct revenue/expense analyses and provide corporate management reports as required. Conduct vendor product reviews and formulate expense approval decisions within the framework of corporate policies. Manage the transition of clients / assets in a highly professional, organized manner.
What you bring
  • Basic / Minimum Education requirement to perform the job: Bachelor #39;s degree.
  • Preferred educational requirements to perform the job: RECA Associated License required,
  • CPM and RPA are also assets.
  • Relevant Years of experience required to perform the role: 10 to 12 years of experience.
