The foundation of our culture is based upon The VersaCold Way demonstrating our commitment to health and safety, integrity, innovation, performance and collaboration.We are a growing organization and currently looking for a passionate and motivated Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join our winning team.Employment Type: Full TimeReports To: Manager - Fleet MaintenanceOffice/Facility: Great Plains FacilityPOSITION SUMMARYThe Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, dispatch, and execution of fleet maintenance for all company owned or leased trucks, trailers, reefers, and chassis. This position will ensure that the scheduled maintenance and over the road breakdown or repairs are completed in a timely manner. This individual is also responsible for reviewingamp; approving all vendor quotes and estimates. These activities are managed through the Fleet Maintenance System (FMS) so timely work order creation and data management is critical to track maintenance progress and to ensure detailed history is being maintained. The primary function is to work with internal operations teams to ensure that they have adequate assets required to meet their daily customer needs, while working towards lowering asset maintenance spend. The Maintenance Coordinator will ensure the fleet is operating in the safest and most effective manner by strategically tracking and reporting on fleet concerns.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads and promotes a culture where Safety is the #1 priority.
• Request for quotations and approve repairs for all services required to maintain equipment.
• Set priorities for preventative maintenance work orders, maintenance requisitions and scheduled work.
• Ensure asset and component warranties are being leveraged to mitigate spend
• Escalate estimate approvals once Coordinator threshold has been reached
• Data entry processingamp; work order management of all R amp;M related invoices through FMS
• Coordinate all maintenance vendors performing Ramp; M on Lineage assets
• Communicate with appropriate maintenance vendor(s) for timely repair of equipment
• Lead the scheduling of all repairsamp; maintenance with Terminals and vendors to stride towards 100% compliance with annual safeties and PM #39;s.
• Monitor tracking systems, EDVIR reports, and requests for equipment maintenance and repair.
• Provides regular recommendations on future steps to improve predictive maintenance on the fleet
• Comply with all NSC safety regulations regarding asset maintenance and repair.
• Update and maintain information in company records systems and department databases

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 3 - 5 years #39; experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Experience as a Licensed trailer technician or reefer tech preferred
• Experience with chassis and gensets is an asset
• Based on equal qualifications, preference will be given to bilingual English/French and or Spanish candidates
• Approachable, positive demeanor with a hands-on and team-oriented work style
• Strong interpersonal skills including attentive, careful listening, conflict resolution and responding positively to communications from others.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced transportation environment to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a culture of excellence.

• Knowledge of current Transportation Industry #39;s requirements and National Safety Code requirements.
• Excellent customer service abilities/skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Microsoft Office skills an asset.
• Working knowledge of Truckmate, PeopleNet and or other FMS is an asset
