Physiotherapist Aide / PTA - SunridgeIf you #39;re an energetic, enthusiastic PT Aide seeking personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opening that will enable you to meet your career goals while enjoying the support of one of the largest healthcare networks in Canada.Our Health Centre is looking for a full time PT Aide to complement our talented interdisciplinary team. This is your opportunity to do the work you love every day. Using your therapy skills, you will achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and client engagement for patients in both program and private practice settings. This position is well suited to someone with a strong ability to offer treatment and help motivate clients to return to work and everyday activities at all stages of rehabilitation.PRIMARY DUTIESAs a PT Aide you will:

  • Treat Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), LTD, WSB and private patients in a gym setting
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client
  • Implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
  • Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician
  • Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning
  • Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards.
QUALIFICATIONSTo take on the role of PT Aide, you will have:
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Strong critical thinking;
  • Time management skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Strong computer abilities;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to take and follow direction.
  • Kinesiology degree would be an asset
  • All team members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire or provide a valid medical exemption
