WHAT YOU #39;LL BE DOING IN OVERSEEING CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS:

• Providing guidance and aircraft certification services to the aviation industry;
• Applying engineering expertise to determine that aeronautical products comply with the applicable design and safety standards;
• Collaborating with domestic and foreign stakeholders and civil aviation authorities to build consensus and greater harmonization with regard to the approval of aeronautical products; and
• Conducting oversight activities on Minister #39;s delegates to ensure compliance with expectations.

Regional Engineers in Aircraft Certification have technical engineering expertise and knowledge as well as sound leadership qualities. They must be skilled communicators capable of working effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment, exercising judgment, and adapting to the different needs of stakeholders. Regional engineers must be able to negotiate, facilitate change, and respond effectively to stress caused by time pressures.
